Mapping my Reading Habits

Lately I am having a hard time finding books that excite me.  It has been months since I stayed up way past my bedtime to read just one more chapter.  Why is this?  I decided to go back over the past few years books and see what books I loved and when I read them. Am I more apt to like a book sitting outside with birds singing and the sun shining?  Cozying up to a fire with a glass of red?

History has shown that the answer is no, so whats going on?  Am I making poor choices?

I am going to conduct an experiment and start choosing books that are not on my long list of TBR.  I will buy what is popular, what is on the best seller list, what my neighbor recommends.  Book one will be a book gifted to me at Christmas.  Wish me luck.
